Expressions of interest to participate in class action: RMS Engineering & Construction Pty Ltd (Townsville Nth Queensland).

Queensland Workplace & Workplace Injury Law is undertaking an investigation into whether RMS Engineering & Construction Pty Ltd who operates in the Norther Territory, Queensland and Papua New Guinea. We represent a number of ex-RMS employees who have instructed us that when they were employed by RMS that:

  • RMS reduced the total hours that they worked by half hour irrespective of whether they took a meal break or not;
  • were directed to and did work in excess of 38 hours per week and were not paid at overtime rates;
  • when they asked questions or complained about the above matters they were subject to verbal abuse and allocated less favorable duties or dismissed.
